TamirPred Tutorial
TamirPred can be accessed at: http://webtom.cabgrid.res.in/tamirpred/.
TamirPred webserver comprise of five tabs viz. Home, Prediction, Tutorial, Team and Contact.
Home tab includes description and importance of server with its usage toward plant biologists.

| Prediction tab is the main tab of the Webserver. User can switch to three different options on this page viz. miRNA Prediction, miRNA Target Prediction and miRNA Database |

| miRNA Prediction: For the prediction of new miRNA, user has to give the sequence of interest and click Submit |

|
| if the miRNA is found, its sequence, dot-bracket notation, Minimum folding energy, hairpin loop structure are available. Targets corresponding to the particular miRNA can be predicted using the corresponding predict target button. |

| miRNA Target Prediction: If user is having miRNA sequence and wants to predict the putative targets for the particular miRNA, also if target sequence is also available, that can be provided in the text box present at the target prediction page and targets can be predicted for specific miRNA sequence against wheat coding sequence or the coding sequence provided by the user |

Clicking on RefSeq ID redirects to the NCBI Page

| miRNA Database: For searching the wheat miRNA database, user has to specify the chromosome number using the drop-down menu. 5p or 3p ends can also be specified. The search query lists all the predicted miRNA sequences for the particular chromosome alongwith sequence, structure and energy information. Targets can be predicted for the selected miRNA simply using predict target button. |
